{REFLECTION}
Experience
First things first, at the beginning of the trimester. I was facing several problems with coping with syllabus. My background on Digtial Photography was blur and not clear . I was lacking the fundamentals of subject.However, I could have guessed from the name of the module that it's quite related to photography in general. All of my information that I was bearing at the back of my head about Digital photography is to hold the camera and to take a photograph. Even during my foundation year I took digital photography but it was very basic information ( the very fundamentals )about digital photography in general .Moreover, during this module it was very detailed we did not dive deep through all of the details that we went through this semester.
The very first 2 weeks ,it was extremely confusing and it seemed like a complex structure of a subject. Especially when I was using google classroom platform because I did not have a prior experience on know how to use it, but I have paid much effort in this subject because I enjoyed it .it was quite interesting and very smooth. Furthermore, Mr Fauzi and Mr Martin really have smoothen the pave for us along the journey , their slides and explanations during the class made difference for all of us. Neverthless, the way they deliver the information is direct and straight to the point . Notwithstanding, every assignment or exercise it was explained in details in the demo video and the slides as well. Moreover,during the class Mr.Fauzi explained everything again and again so I didn't face any difficulty in understanding anything despite sometimes it was hard to pay attention to all of the details but the good point if I missed any I can go back to the slides everything explained there in details.
I learned a lot from this module. I wouldn't have known what is lightning means and how to do the animation or even how to recolour pictures from black and white to coloured pictures, This module was very useful , beneficial and enriched mewith useful information & techniques.
I have learned how to use photoshop for the first time. Mr Fauzi introduced it to us .
I have learned many different tools & features in photoshop and also how to use these features to my work with tricks and very easy way.
He also taught us very simple things that really matters in digital photography,
After completeing this module now the situation is totally different than before.
The signficant part in this module for each and every assignment literally there was something new to learn, I have learned that you have to take notes of the feedback that I receive from Mr Fauzi to enhance my work more and that's how I can strengthen my learning.
At the end ,I just want to sincerely Thank Mr Fauzi & Mr Martin for making the experience very easy and well conducted to us , I really enjoyed this module and it was pleasure that I got to take it.
Observation
Throughout the 14 weeks , I was noticing that my performance is improving .Especially in the final project as Mr Fauzi told me , that he was impressed from my performance due to the obstacles and struggles I was facing that time.
These words indulged me with a lot of motivation to continue to pay much effort. These words show how much my work had improved , I have learned during this module that without mistakes, errors and trials you will not be able to learn anything .
definitely all of this improvements happened because of Mr Fauzi & Mr Martin efforts that they did throughout the 14 weeks . Moreover, Mr Fauzi's guidance and feedbacks also helped me a lot.
He helped me to enhance my work and by the positive feedbacks I got , they always encouraged me to do better .
Findings
As findings, I examined that I have learned many features and techniques both in photoshop and photography .
the knowledge and the information that were delivered throughout the 14 weeks assisted me to have better understanding of how to use photoshop than before , I found also that during the refugee poster the information that conveyed to us is quite beneficial as I made 2 posters extra for awareness , I really enjoyed the process.
I learned also in photoshop how to remove acnes for example which is something used daily in editing pictures and so on this is not something taught to us but this module encouraged me to learn more, and we have learned basic skills and features that will help us in the future to be successful designers .
Lastly, thank you very much for Mr. Fauzi and Mr. Martin for this great journey , Im so happy and honoured that Both of you conducted this module to me with the very interesting and easy way.
