INSTRUCTION

Project 2

This project, it was a collaboration project between the Design School and the School of Busniesss. We were to design a packaging design for their product.

Their product was DIY sneakers. We had a meeting with them to find out more about their product.

Progress

First i started by the production of the logo of the brand

Then Mr shamsul liked logo 2 and myself also and this is his feedback

You can maintain with the graphic elements but suggest more serious typeface like avenir new bold or futura bold

Which look a bit more elegent and modern

The feedback i got from the group

Tbh the logo feels a lot like a child’s brand instead of a DIY brand. Maybe is y’all can change it up to be fun but more adult likes bcs our main target is them.

Overall it needs to look more adult and modern

Keep the same colours but try different fonts that’s more modern for the name

Then I changed the 3 logos again I did some sketches

Their feedback :

For this logo the last one is nice but it looks like a spray can instead of a pen. If you can improve that then it will be good.

This design does not align with sneakies since it’s targeting people our age

The design would be more suited for a future expansion for kids instead

I feel like it doesn’t represent out brand well too

im sorry this reminds me of a toys brand logo

Then I showed Mr Shamsul the logos option and he chose this one and he said a logo cannot be complicated. lecturer approved that logo

Then I started to work third time for logos as they didnt like anythig .

My lecturer suggested this font to use .

Then one of them chose this logo !

They said : Do you have a less boxy font you can show us. Maybe we can decide from there

They asked for another batch of logos ..

Third and last progress

Then i moved forward for box making and applying the patterns on box mockup

At the same time i started to work on the stickers

Then their feedback :

I think there’s a bit of confusion on the “stickers”. It’s a template that people stick on the shoe to draw over to get a design.

These seem to be notebook stickers

Example of template they wanted , after i worked on everything this project was nightmare.

They said they need like this stencil , but for me and my lecturer its too complicated and what they want is really too much.

Then after long time they said they will use this logo .

And for the box they commented saying

For box we will go with this. Could you please put the logo on the top of the box in the middle. Esentially have like a plain black rectangle with some outline in the middle and put the logo there. That way the brand is visible.
