After having our content and finishing up our visuals, we are to determine the format of our book (considering size, layout, typeface, type size, etc.)
Our book size was also determined in our first exercise. The book will not be smaller than A5 and not bigger than A4.
We also did this as part of our exercise 1 which is to determine how we will be using the grid system. We were told to come up with a total of 3 different grids to see which one we like best.
Barcode size is wrong use this to genrate the barcode
Layout of the book no problem
We need page numbers
Some of the bages can be black but not all put black in startegic way when its necessary
When you introduce black and whites pages introduce neutral tone or neutral colours in between could be cool grey , warm grey insert strategically
Have a mix of balance between white pages , offwhite pages and grey and then black pages
List typefaces that u used
Be careful on the text on top firt line doesnt seem to be right in page (12). line starts with pyramids of giza , arabic alahrmat because u have small widow there
Summary of the book needs to have paragrph spaces it doesnt have currently
So i started to work on the feedback has given to me
I found some issues that needed to be rectified after showing Mr. Vinod the book. I then returned to Adobe Indesign to repair the problems. After resolving the problems, I proceeded to ArchPrint to test print the book mockup in black and white. The paragraph spacing issues in the b&w mockup required numerous revisions.
The cover also had a problem, so I had to change everything and reprint.
I had problem with the papers numbers so i fixed that

REFLECTION
Experience
The process of writing my book wasn't the simplest or easiest to follow. This task was so stressful and hectic for me especially that i had some ups and downs but the downs is actually way more .
This has been a lot of fun, but also a little stressful, in my opinion.
It's been enjoyable in that I was able to start a book from scratch because I genuinely enjoyed and adore Egypt, but stressful in that I don't believe I've ever produced this many illustrations and pieces of artwork in such a short amount of time.
(I was unable to perform this in this short period i needed extra time )
The whole stress of this endeavour, which was one of the hardest subjects I have yet to study for a degree, caused me to lose some hair. I didn't imagine I would ever have to take each step, which was new to me. My instructor was disappointed since I was fairly confused about a number of things because I had never created or printed a book before. It was a unique experience, and there were many times when I thought this activity should be simple yet required more time. Despite the fact that it was a huge undertaking, I'm delighted I was able to complete it.
Observation
Each person's book design is highly attractive and intriguing. Taking a peek at everyone's pictures is equally fascinating.
The book cover should always be at least 2mm bigger than the page size when constructing a book.
Through this module, I gained a lot of knowledge about choosing the grids for my layout as well as how to make a nice layout and what can and cannot be done.
I had the opportunity to examine what had worked for many other illustrators through this experience and to observe their work. It allowed me to spend more time than usual seeing the creations of my favourite artists and to simply gaze at them.
Findings
I initially found learning to be creative in grids to be confusing and felt that it was limiting but grid systems are a means to organise things and exercise creativity under constraints.
On the other side, I discovered that a pull-quote does not necessarily need to be clearly readable and that we may play about with it using typographic systems because a pull-quote already exists in our body text.
I had a difficult time designing the book cover since you need it to be really intriguing to get people to read your book.

Visual and organisational issue solutions are part of any design effort. Pictures, symbols, fields of text, headlines, and tabular data must work together to convey. A grid is one way. A grid first organises a layout. Not only does it separate various sorts of information, making them easier to navigate, but it also maintains critical cohesiveness among visual pieces by harmonising them through its spatial proportions and positional logic.
Since many design issues are handled in designing the grid's structure at the start of a project, a designer may quickly lay down massive volumes of information using a grid. Using a grid, several people may work on the same or related projects without losing visual quality. Clearness, efficiency, and continuity are the grid's benefits.
For some designers, the grid is as essential as joinery is to furniture manufacture. Its adoption into practise has evolved graphic designers' thinking about design and solved particular communication and production difficulties throughout the discipline's history.
The evolution of the grid during the past 150 years has paralleled the major technical and social shifts that Western civilization has undergone, as well as the reactions of thinkers, artists, and designers to those shifts. the 1740s-era start of the Industrial Revolution. England altered people's lifestyles.
It has a significant impact on our culture. The influence of the land-owning nobility migrated away from manufacturers, merchants, and the working class as the development of mechanical power encouraged people to seek a living in cities. Demand from a city-dwelling populace with rising purchasing power encouraged technology, enabling mass production, driving down prices, and boosting accessibility.
