REFLECTION

Merchandising and packaging design was a wonderful project to work on. I have many opportunities to get knowledge regarding packing. Throughout the duration of the class, I was given the opportunity to participate in a variety of projects and activities that enabled me to learn more about the design of packaging. This journey consisted in large part of completing projects and exercises, which offered both hands-on experience as well as the opportunity to put the ideas and principles that were covered in the topic into practise. Each project had its own distinct set of challenges and constraints, which forced me to think both creatively and critically in order to come up with original design solutions. During the iterative design process, seeing my ideas come to life was an incredibly thrilling and satisfying experience. This included everything from the early sketches and prototypes to the final implementation of the package or retail display.
